One of the most requested features in Viddyoze history, Font Override, is officially back and ready for everyone to use.
You’ve asked, we’ve listened. And now, no matter what language or writing system you create in – Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, or any other – your videos can look exactly the way you want them to.
Font Override gives you full control over the fonts used inside templates, so your words display beautifully in your language and your brand style.
What happened to it?
When we launched the new Viddyoze platform, we knew some of the older features you loved were missing. Font Override was at the top of that list — and for good reason.
Our global community creates in dozens of languages, and being able to use fonts that support their characters isn’t just nice to have — it’s essential.
So today, Font Override returns — simpler, faster, and available across all templates.
How to use Font Override?
New “Font Override” toggle is added to text input section. You can see this when customizing your template. Toggle this on to enable font override.
New font replacement options appear in the UI.
First select the language or writing system you intend to use. Right to left languages also supported.
Font selection will only show fonts that support your selected language. Use dropdowns to select which font replaces each default font used in the template.
Pick replacements for all fonts in the template. Replacements work per entire font group, so you don’t need to change each individual text input. If multiple texts in the template share the same default font, that font is getting replaced for each text with one click.
Now continue editing your text inputs as usual, and take note of handy font labels indicating which font is used for that text field.
That’s it. Click render and your video will be ready in seconds. Beautifully localized.
